"In my job as a flight nurse I respond to people experiencing severe crisis very often under extreme circumstances. For years I had told myself I needed to get in shape, and each time I came up with a myriad of excuses not to ..."I'm too busy...", "I'm in school...", "My work keeps me fit...". "I just wanted you to know how thankful I am for having the opportunity to be trained by you. I’ve never had a trainer make working out so fun. I guess that’s because you use a very different regime with new techniques, kettle bells, medicine balls, etc. The combo of weight training at the pace of aerobics definitely gets my heart pumping.

Also, I’ve been taking your diet/nutrition basics very seriously and I have lost 20 lbs since starting the program 2 months ago. You make it so simple and easy. I would’ve never guessed I could get those results by making some simple changes to my eating habits.

"I wanted to thank you for all your motivation and inspiration this past year

I was in a severe accident in 2006, and was not able to exercise for almost a year. I had gained weight & became depressed about my appearance, and knew I needed to change something. In the past, when I joined a gym, I would go for a few months and do the exercises I knew how to do and not push myself. I might lose a few pounds, but then I would become bored and unmotivated and end up not going.

In October, I began some one on one personal training sessions with Todd Gilchrist. I would highly recommend Todd as a personal trainer to anyone: whether training for a specific sport, or simply becoming personally fit. He evaluated my fitness level, listened well to my specific needs, then has continued to assess and listen to my needs as they changed. Todd has a terrifically contagious energy about him; he keeps the workouts current and challenging. Todd has also worked with me on my nutrition as well, and by changing a few minor things, I have quickly seen incredible results. "I began working out with Todd Gilchrist nearly a year ago when I set a seemingly ridiculous goal of completing a half marathon.  I am on the far side of 40, not exactly athletic and had never even completed a 10K, but somehow it seemed like a good idea.  Todd set out a plan of action that included my base line ability, nutrition, level of commitment and time line to my goal race.  Inch by inch, mile by mile the impossible became possible and despite my own reservations, I did indeed complete that half marathon and even had a little fun doing it.

The first question Todd had for me after that race was simple, "whats next?"
